Beer and Buildings
downtown lunch
the steel scent of cloves
rising from my beer

Author’s Notes: The beer was a Penn Weizen–much more aggressive clove character than most. The ascending metallic aroma seemed to suggest an unlikely kinship with the tall steel buildings all around me
