Morsels From My Meandering Mind: Thirsty?
We’ve inpsired another reader to compose a beer haiku on their blog. Take a look. It’s pretty good.
When you’re on the beach
Do you reach for a bourbon
Or a Corona?

I’ve been getting lots of submissions lately. It’s amazing to see how haiku can be so similar and yet so different. For instance, here is one I wrote:
Glorious liquid
Drunk with wild abandon
Now I pray and pay
Written by Captain Hops.
Of course others may prefer to take the more direct approach with the same theme:
Man, I enjoy beer.
Except when it makes me puke.
Then I feel like crap.

Ah the Haiku… short but versatile!
Beer drinking woman
Your heart filled with adventure
Mischief in your eyes.

Use Blingo to search
As you drink your cold crisp beer
You’ve already won!
Alright… It’s shameless but I couldn’t resist. I won’t count this haiku towards my daily quota.
