Beer Blogging Day?

Beer blogging day theme:
“Not your father’s Irish stout”
Coming March second!

Written by Captain Hops.

References: Stan over at Appellation Beer is proposing Beer Blogging Day. It’s essentially a themed blogging day the first Friday of every month. If you are familiar with Blog Carnivals, this seems to be very similar. The first months theme will be tasting and posting on an Irish Stout that is not Guinness, Murphy’s, or Beamish. You’ve got a month. Ready… Go!

Bonus: State of the Union Drinking Game

“Ethanol” and “surge”
When he says them, take a drink
That’s the State of things

Written by Captain Hops.

Just Add Heat

A bottle of beer
garlic and a pound of cheese.
Hot damn! It’s fondue.

Written by Captain Hops.

References: Come on, admit it. Everyone has a fondue set hidden away in a back cabinet that nobody likes to talk about. It’s time to break it out and get cooking.
