This really strikes a chord with me.

Me–Protestant Midwestern girl.

My hubby–immigrant, Buddhist, Vietnamese boy.

He will never join in the chicken dance fun. He thinks the whole thing is the epitome of “whiteness” and refuses to dance with me!
