Baltimore Beer Week?
Isn’t that every week?
OK. Bring it on!
Written by Captain Hops.
References: According to Rob Kasper, the first Baltimore Beer Week is scheduled from October 8-18, 2009. Apparently it will be so monumental that we need more than a week to contain it. I’ll drink to that!

Check out the complete instructions here. The prizes are no joke… $50 gift certificates to the Flying Dog Online Store will go to the writers behind the top five haiku.

References: Max’s Taphouse in Fells Point is having it’s Fifth Annual Belgian Beer Fest February 13-15, 2009. I went for a few hours last year and it was a real treat. It got a little crowded and I’d love to keep it all to myself this year, but that would just be mean.

Beer festivals can be fun, they can be overwhelming, and they can be utter chaos. I am a fairweather beer festival goer. I like to attend on nice days, when the beers are plentiful, the lines quick, the food tasty, and the music fun.
Cheers!
