References: I am not sure why I am going for this linkbait, but what the hell. A columnist for the Pittsburgh Tribune wrote a column called “Beer snobs forget the true meaning of beer”. He then spent the whole of the article hurling insults at the ‘pretentious snobs’ and somehow forgot to mention what the true meaning of beer actually is except that it is something cheap that working class folk drink from a styrofoam cup. The article was written in an inflammatory manner calculated to draw the biggest response, which of course it did. I feel that regardless of style or cost, beer simply enhances the moment and it has no need to have any other meaning than that. Cheers!
