References: Heller Hound is a new seasonal brew from Flying Dog Brewery. It is a Maibock style ale and it was simply a pleasant and tasty experience. Frankly, the joy of the beer was a complete contradiction to the name, tag line, and disturbing image on the label. There was nothing erratic or reckless about it. It was comfortable, welcoming and had a good solid foundation. It was like coming home from a long trip.
