as the clouds lifted

References: Baltimore passes smoking ban. As a non-smoker, I am glad this passed. I will most certainly enjoy spending more time at the pub and actually being able to taste my food and beer. Of course, I wish it hadn’t been necessary to pass a ban. I strongly believe that there is a strong market for smoking and non-smoking bars. I am of the opinion that if given the choice, non-smoking bars would attract more customers and make more money. I just don’t know of many non-smoking bars in Baltimore so it was hard to prove that point.

I couldn’t disagree with you more, but I won’t argue a point you advocate on your own website.
Hi Kevin,
I lived in Portland, Oregon for five years before moving back to Baltimore. Proprietors could choose to have smoking bars or non-smoking bars. The mix was about 40% smoking and 60% non-smoking and the non-smoking bars were always more crowded.
